The accumulation of matter follows finite rules. What would you say to a proposal that features box A that needs N amount of input of X type of energy to produce Y usable food matter, with all byproducts accounted? Ever the agrarian... just following the water=life, energy=agriculture idea to a feasible, if hopeful, conclusion of positive net effect. I imagine a fully functional, foolproof "Greenhouse" in every back yard in the world that produces a significant % of daily calories.
